AJ's Irises I am a iris lover in hopes of sharing my love of irises with as many people as I can. I sell or trade my irises in the hopes of getting more irises to share.

I am more than happy to keep an eye out if someone is looking for something in particular. When my babies were still babies, I was introduced to irises. My mother-in-law at the time told me of a lady who created her own irises by breeding. I fell in love with the idea of creating my own. I at the time only had two different irises. A tall bearded purple and a yellow dwarf. Fast-forward about 18 ye

ars and I now have over forty different irises. I have had the same four since moving into this house about six years ago. I have gotten some through trading. Some I have gotten from people who know my love of irises. Most have been bought online or in stores. One thing that has not changed is my love of the iris. It has only grown since my introduction about 18 years ago. I no longer have any dwarfs. I prefer to have tall and bearded. I am not picky on color. I am not picky on breeder. I have historic irises. I have modern. I even have NoIDs. What I do not have is enough.

I was wrong about not having more irises blooming and available. Have lots of Siberians currently blooming. They are not tall Bearded German irises, but they are still an iris....

I am at the end of my bloom season. The last ones to bloom will not be available this year. They need more increases.
Do not get discouraged. There will be more next year. There is also a possibility of canceled orders.
NoID #2 (Bev's White) and NoID #47 (Chetopa yellow) are still available.
I will post again when I begin to dig them up this summer.

PLEASE! Do not get discouraged and think I am out of irises for this year. There is always a possibility.
NoID #3 (Bev's Purple)has a bud along with some others. My bloom season is not over.
When I dig my irises up this summer there may be an order or two that change their mind.
When I dig up a plant I might have more plants than I originally counted.
If you see an iris you would like, but is not currently available feel free to send me a message and let me know. I do keep my messages from year to year to keep track of wants. I also have them on my computer.

I am currently sold out on everything except for the NoID #2 White.
I do have others still waiting to bloom. I am not certain how many of those will be available.
I know 2 will not be. I know 1 should be (if it is what it's supposed to be).

I'm trying to be patient. It's really hard. Bloom season starts off with my early bloomer Gilt-edged Bond. Then it's hurry up and wait. Red shows up, then white.
I'm still waiting. I've got about 5 plants showing buds, but no blooms yet. I check them every day. Today was a little wet, but I still went. Still no blooms.
I've got a new addition that has been teasing me for days. I just hope when it does bloom it doesn't get destroyed by the weather. I hope I can share it with you tomorrow and get a good picture of it.
