9-4-14 Update: New Hope Farms will be open during the month of September at 717 E. It is open Friday evening thru Sunday evening. If you cannot come during those times, message us your order and we can have a box available for you to pick up. I'm sorry we will not be at the Monticello Market for the remainder of the season. New Hope Farms emerged from a dream of growing healthy, phytonutrient rich

fruits and vegetables chemical free. We also provide education regarding which foods contain the most phytonutrients and how to prepare them to retain or enhance the nutrients. We also have a greenhouse in which we grow annual bedding plants and vegetable plants, focusing on varieties of tomatoes, peppers, geraniums, petunias and a wide assortment of other annual flowers, hanging baskets and container plantings. We sell our plants and produce at the Monticello Farmer's Market on Thursday afternoons and at our location in Bement on the weekends Friday thru Sunday. Thank you for your support,

New Hope Farms Greenhouse is officially open! We are a self-serve greenhouse, open from 7 am until 7 pm 7 days a week. We have a cash box by the greenhouse door. We also take Paypal, Venmo and Cash App.
Be aware of farm traffic, we live in the heart of farming country.
We do not have a official parking lot, feel free to use our yard as needed. If you need to use our yard to turn around your vehicle, all good.

3 days until the opening day for New Hope Greenhouse. Please be aware of farm traffic as you enter and exit our driveway. We are located at 12469 Lake Fork Drive, Weldon, IL. Google maps does not always do the location thing correctly. Simply put, we are between Cisco and Weldon, right off of Rte 48. We have a number of signs on Rte 48 and we are less than a eighth of a mile off of Rte 48. Feel free to use our front yard to park and as needed, to turn around your vehicle when exiting. I am not going to freak out if you leave a mark in my driveway.
We are a self serve greenhouse. We accept cash in the cash box, also Venmo, Cash app, and PayPal.
We are not a big retail shop. Our greenhouse is on our 3 acre homestead. We live in the country and we keep things simple. We prefer to focus on the quality of our plants.
At our greenhouse, it is very likely that you will hear this, "AWOOOO". This is the sound that our beagle W***y makes, it is his way of saying hello. W***y will likely be looking out our living room window, towards the greenhouse.
Lucy, our brindle pittie, will be looking out our bedroom window, towards the greenhouse. She may bark but chances are that she will simply stare at you from her room.
Nelly is a lovable Lab, she belongs to the neighbors but she we have a open yard policy. Nelly is still a puppy. She is very friendly and loves everyone.
Bandit is our rooster, he is harmless. He may walks towards you but he will never attack you. My 3 year old grandson spent most of Easter Sunday chasing Bandit and Bandit simply ran away. He is harmless. We also have 15 hens, they are free range during the day.
Midnight is our cat, she is friendly but does not liked to be picked up.
I will have a couple of chairs outside of the greenhouse, feel free to use them.
We are looking forward to the 2026 greenhouse season.
