Spring time. I know you are so excited with what will be in your landscape and gardens.
Fun fact: If you have witch hazel , hellebore, daffodils, snowdrops, daphne ,forsythia, and primrose for example you would already be swooning over the color and wouldn’t have to wait! Just saying. Haha We can do that for you!
Reminder: You will have to order your own full house generator now to prevent what happened to you this winter though! Brrrrr

Another fun fact for the beginning of your 2026 season. If you have blueberries, do not be intimidated. Go in there and look at the three largest gnarliest Grey trunks and branches and grab three of them and cut them all the way to the ground. The newer growth is more productive and they will benefit from the airflow.

Fun fact, for the beginning of your 2026 season. When you’re training climbing Roses take the canes and go horizontal as often as you can. Lots of side shoots lots of flowers, instead of being dominant at the tip.  And get rid of everything that’s smaller than a pencil. It’s not gonna do much for you.

Phase 1 of a new project. Kevin Rose and his crew are doing the major excavation of the wooded overgrown area regain the lawn ultimately will put some beautiful specimen tree in to soften up the expanse that will be cleared. And out front we’re going to be removing the Overgrown ornamental grasses that are crowding out, beautiful specimen, hydrangeas, and doing some transplanting.

All projects going off at the same time. Back-and-forth from Truro, Wellfleet to Eastham three times in a day. It’s fun. Troubleshooting along the way. lots of excavation to prep all the areas -removing vegetation, removing timbers, removing tons of stone. Putting up a sweet Fence with plantings, laying out a very casual what I like to call farm like stone path. removing tons of timbers and earth to create stone, retaining walls, future Japanese garden going in. Removing broken down, gazebos and installing 11 large arborvitae for privacy. And meanwhile, my dirty girls are taking down all the maintenance properties. It’s a busy time of year.
