The heat is brutal! ☀️ Here’s a few tips and ideas to keep you, your animals, and your plants safe. Remember, we are here with AC, feed for the animals, and drinks/snacks for the humans!

☀️ Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of fluids and take breaks often. Limit outdoor activity during the heat of the day.

☀️ Avoid watering plants during the day - water in the morning or late evening.

☀️ Help keep your animals hydrated and cool. Provide shade/shelter and water. Kiddie pools and frozen fruits/veggies are fun and refreshing!

There’s just something special about a porch in the South.

Some of our favorite memories are of sitting on a porch, listening to the older folks swap stories, laugh, and talk about life. Nobody was in a hurry. Neighbors became friends, and a simple conversation could last for hours.

That’s the feeling we hope our porch brings to everyone who stops by. Whether you’re here to shop, browse, or just enjoy a few quiet minutes with a cup of coffee, we want you to feel right at home.

So the next time you visit, come sit a spell. We’d love for you to stay awhile.
