Swipe through to see how Foreman saved this barn in Fayette, Maine!

Homeowners were concerned their barn would collapse because the foundation had multiple cracks that were getting worse, and walls were bowing in. We were able to stabilize and protect the barn using push piers around the perimeter. The steel push piers are hydraulically driven deep in the ground until they hit stable soils, transferring the weight of the structure through the piers.

Check out the transformation on this 200 year old basement in New Sharon, Maine!

The dirt floor and old stone foundation walls were letting water in constantly. To address the floor we poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage that connects to a TripleSafe sump pump for water to be pumped away. On the walls we installed CleanSpace Wall system, a v***r barrier that directs water behind the liner to the drainage system while sealing moisture out of the basement space to keep it dry.

This Islesboro, Maine basement had two failing foundation walls that were bowing in. Some cinder blocks had shifted so much you could see daylight!

We poured two StableLock Walls to keep this home protected. StableLock Wall is our patented system for supporting the home with a newly poured concrete wall and specialized bracing. It is less disruptive and costly than traditional foundation repair methods that can involve major excavation and lifting the home. We pour the new wall abutting the old wall to prevent it from shifting any further.

FOREMAN FRIDAY

Foreman Josh S. & Foreman Travis worked together on this Adamstown Township, Maine property.

Josh prepped the space with drainage matting, WaterGuard perimeter drainage, CleanSpace Wall system, and a SuperSump pump to be ready for a new concrete floor to be poured. After the pour he completed the final clean up and installed the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

Travis completed the Spray Foam insulation installation on the walls and rim joists. Spray Foam not only improves the energy efficiency, but it is also water and mold resistant, making it a great option for basements and crawl spaces!

We insulated and encapsulated this Greene, Maine crawl space. To encapsulate the crawl space we install a layer of drainage matting, as well as our CleanSpace v***r barrier liner. These work together to control groundwater and seal moisture out. Spray Foam insulation was installed on the walls and rim joists to improve the energy efficiency. Spray Foam is mold and water resistant, making it a great option over traditional fiberglass insulation for your crawl space or basement.

Shout out to Foreman Tyler and Foreman Josh S. for tackling this project together in Lubec, Maine. The homeowners had water seeping in from the walls and floors, and they wanted to be able to use the space without worrying about water damage.

We poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. CleanSpace Wall System was installed to be a v***r barrier for the walls. A new TripleSafe sump pump removed water from the home, and is protected with a battery back up. The SaniDry Sedona controls humidity and filters allergens like mold spores from the air.

Their basement looks brand new, is dry, and usable!

This week we helped waterproof this failing Winterport, Maine basement. Water was coming in through the bulkhead, rotting the basement windows, and causing the support beams to weaken. The homeowners had cracked joists and sagging floors.

We upgraded the bulkhead and installed new bulkhead doors to help prevent leaks. The basement windows were replaced with new EverLast Windows that are vinyl and won’t rot or rust. SmartJacks were installed to lift the sagging floors and keep the home properly supported. Not pictured, a new TripleSafe sump pump removes water from the basement to keep it dry.

These homeowners now have a safe, dry, and usable space!
