Etrusco took the spotlight last week as we captured our newest Italian arrivals. What continues to stand out is its versatility, a soft grey with warmth that blends seamlessly across cool and warm palettes. A foundation piece for thoughtful layering.

We don’t show our faces here often, but when we all get dressed and manage a staff photo… it deserves a post.

This is our team—really, our family.

Bottom left is Nancy: my mom, our endlessly curious leader, best problem solver, and the one who started Anamese 28 years ago.
Next is Dora: Nancy’s very first employee, with the sweetest southern drawl and a heart for taking care of people.
Then me, Ashley: I handle most marketing content and photograph all the pottery.
Kathleen: our numbers gal, Nancy’s sister, and forever Aunt Kat.
And Olivia: my cousin, Nancy + Kat’s niece, the glue that keeps us organized and the office running smoothly.

Five women, one family business, and countless reasons to smile.

Sometimes it’s a planter… this time it’s Blue Daze.

Italian Etrusco is here!!
But what is Italian Etrusco pottery?

“Etrusco” pottery is inspired by the ancient Etruscan civilization, which lived in central Italy before Ancient Rome.

The Etruscans created distinctive black ceramics called Bucchero pottery, known for their deep charcoal color and simple, elegant forms.

Today, Italian artisans—especially in Tuscany—still make “Etrusco” pottery inspired by these ancient designs, bringing a piece of Italy’s early history into modern gardens.

We’ve been a little quiet lately—soaking up the holidays and family time.🤍
Coming back to fresh greens feels like the perfect way to welcome a new year.

This pasture may not still be green, but it’s reminding me that new beginnings always find their way back.

Shown here: our Catarina Planter in Italian terra cotta—available in four sizes, with the largest measuring an impressive 31” wide.

Here’s to easing into 2026 with intention 🌱

Planted November 13 🌱
Blooming right on cue 🤍

Paperwhites typically take 4–6 weeks from planting to bloom, and this little Cyrena Bowl moment is proof that patience pays off. Once flowering, you can expect blooms to last 10–14 days.

To make them last:
• Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Too much direct sun speeds things up (and shortens the show).
• Water: Keep soil lightly moist—never soggy. Let the top inch dry slightly between watering.
• Temperature: Cooler rooms = longer-lasting blooms. (They love a crisp winter window.)

Simple. Elegant. Seasonal.
Paperwhites remind us that the quiet weeks are always leading somewhere beautiful.
