The Designer Floors team is getting excited about where tile is heading for 2027, and these two mosaics are such a great example of it!

We’ve been seeing a big shift toward natural stone, warmer neutrals and texture — less of the perfectly uniform, flat finishes and more materials that actually have some character to them. And we think this look is going to be huge moving into 2027.

These mosaics mix smooth stone with fluted, striated and more heavily textured pieces, so even though the color palette is soft and neutral, there’s still a lot going on when you see them in person. The texture catches the light beautifully and gives the whole surface a really natural & layered feel.

These would be gorgeous in a primary bathroom, shower, backsplash, fireplace surround or powder room. And they would be just as beautiful in a boutique hotel, spa, restaurant, salon or other commercial space where you want something elevated without being overly flashy.

We especially love the two color options — the lighter one feels clean and timeless, while the warmer sandstone has that earthy, organic feel that we’re going to be seeing a LOT more of!

Hi everybody. As a member of the Wenatchee downtown Association and as a member of the design committee, I have been spearheading the beautification project downtown, not without the help of many people. So I will be giving a shout out this week to the people who made the progress possible last year. Today I would like to thank Stephen McGurn for donating his time to install a power outlet on the outside of the Nick McLean building so the Tumble W**d would be able to light their awning year round. He also this fall helped assemble a pressurized portable water tank so that when the city stopped watering the flowers in mid September we would be able to continue watering through the second week in November.
By doing this we were able to keep the flowers in the Downtown looking beautiful through the middle of November. Thanks again, Stephen for your help!
