Birds of Wenonah Woods Birds seen within the woods of Wenonah, NJ and surrounding areas. Feel free to post your own pictures! These woods make up the Wenonah Conservation area.

Wenonah, NJ is surrounded by 135 acres of lush, preserved woodlands and wetlands along small tributaries and the Mantua Creek. Within these woods are a healthy bird population and habitat that affords good viewing at any time of the year. Migratory birds use this area to feed and rest on their way South in the Autumn and North in the Spring.

Lots of Nighthawks flying over Wenonah at dusk the last few days. Look for the white bars on their wings.
