Here's where we are with the kitchen update so far. The main area is pretty well done aside from some trim. Today I got the fridge surround and coffee hutch roughed in with the first coat of butcher block seal put on the counter top. Next will be faces and doors, and finally paint. All of the cabinetry I am making from scratch using 3/4" Baltic birch plywood, backed with 1/4" maple plywood. All the doors are constructed from old barn lumber and maple plywood. The floating barn beams are from one of the out buildings on the property, and I routed low voltage lighting though the bottom to help lighten up the countertop. If you have any questions that I forgot to cover lemme know!!
