We are a spring season greenhouse, offering annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and vegetable seedlings. the doors are open May thru June, every day 9am till 6pm. have you tried Scaevola (aka fan flower)? it's the really cool looking white flower in this pic. loves heat, easy peas...

have you tried Scaevola (aka fan flower)? it's the really cool looking white flower in this pic. loves heat, easy peasy, get fantastic 'swoopy' stems and I have it in white, pink or blue. honestly,, it doesn't show well on the bench, but you really should try it. (esp since I just read a very hot summer is forecast)

I am loving this new petunia, but it's even better (IMHO) with the Petchoa and 2 Verbenas.
I know making combos can be overwhelming for some...I say just come in, wander around, find 1 or 2 plants that you adore, then we will talk about the location and desired effect. I am here to help you understand, experiment and have fun!

let's talk about plant food, especially for flowering annuals and Saturday Night Fever. I hear you now, "she has finally lost her mind". well, yea, kinda.

I have a bit of a mental block about N-P-K ), plant macronutrients. see I have to pause and think about the order...so Nitrogen (the N) is easy, then Phosphorus (P), then Potassium (K). i remember that's last cause there is another word within that, well, refers to an end (@$$).
and what do they do? well the SNF dance of course. picture it...he points down, points up, then does an all around, ahem, movement!
down for roots (N), up for shoots/flowers (P) and all around 'health' (K).. that's far too simplistic, but it works in my mind.

today I shall sit on the bench for a few minutes...you are welcome to as well. the moments should be enjoyed.
