Double sided panels can be a charming way to divide spaces like this girls room and homework room. From a fabricator’s perspective there’s a lot of work into making them look good from both sides. We opted for ripplefold headers here, hiding the tape between the layers and the inside edges are pillowcased to avoid a visible hem. A slight taper on the tiebacks is a small detail that we’ve adopted as a standard. A panel is truly never just a panel!

Overheard in the workroom:
- 2 or 3 rows of flowers?
- remember the view from the back
- we need more upholstery needles
- continue or center the pattern?
- pleat to pattern?
- phew- it’s a perfect fit 😅
- we love it!
