⭐️Scott and Kyle were impeccable! I cannot express my gratitude enough for their help in an emergency situation in the worst of weather conditions when three other companies failed us; the third company telling us we needed a new heater without even determining why the heater was shutting off. It ended up we had a major leak in the heater pipes in the crawl space that was leaking down the wall. Not one of the prior three companies thought to look for leaks despite the heater shutting down due to low water. Scott and Kyle worked in our crawl space for hours chiseling and repairing the leak, and found another pipe that was about to burst as well. We didn’t need a new heater after all! They were knowledgeable, skilled and respectful. I wish I knew to call them years ago. I will never use anyone else moving forward! Integrity is hard to come by these days! I will recommend them to everyone I know!

“I can’t recommend James Brown Heating & Air enough. I live in a 180+ year old row home in the borough of West Chester, and for 15 years I dealt with miserable summers and uneven winters. My old boiler and radiator setup was inefficient, expensive, and created major temperature swings from room to room. After working with several companies and getting nowhere, I honestly believed discomfort was just part of owning an old home. When we started a family, we knew it was time to upgrade. I researched UNICO systems and met with another large chain provider, but their high-pressure approach and unreasonable pricing did not sit well with me. They insisted I would need mini-splits on top of the UNICO system, which defeated the purpose of finding one clean solution. I wanted a company that understood historic homes and the quirks that come with them. Finding Scott and the team at James Brown Heating & Air changed everything. James came to the house, spent real time with us, and built a plan that gave us full UNICO coverage without any mini-splits. They listened to my concerns about equipment placement, including mounting on the roof, and took the time to verify it would work rather than dismiss the idea. The installation team was professional, courteous, and efficient. Scott stayed in communication throughout the project, and what could have been stressful ended up feeling surprisingly smooth. They also took the extra step of diagnosing and repairing our old boiler. After 15 years of being told the issues were normal, they had it running better than it ever has. Now we can use radiant heat during the winter and switch on the UNICO for extra warmth when needed. The difference in comfort is incredible. Every room now feels consistent in temperature, and the system is so quiet it fades into the background. My wife and I keep remarking on how comfortable the house feels, something we never expected to experience here. James Brown Heating & Air delivered results that other companies told me were either impossible or not worth attempting.”

From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, craftsmanship, and integrity throughout the replacement of our antiquated heating system (which had no original air conditioning) with a new geothermal system.
The installation included a Unico high-velocity system, Uponor radiant floors, and a Bradford White high-efficiency boiler. The result has been extraordinary—the system is whisper-quiet and has made our home more comfortable than my wife and I have ever experienced.
Their knowledge and attention to detail were evident at every stage of the project. They communicated clearly, provided practical and honest advice, and ensured that each phase was completed on time and to the highest standards. 🚨 Freezing temps are approaching!

💦 Just a friendly reminder to disconnect your hoses from your outside spigots. Your hose left connected has the potential to cause a lot of damage to your home, even if it is “frost-free”! Safest bet is to turn off the spigot and disconnect your garden hose. 💦

We recently had James Brown Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning LLC complete work at our home. They installed a complete water treatment system after accomplishing a water test, and replaced all of our copper water lines with new Pex material. We had no idea the difference this system would make. Its pretty awesome. Their technicians did fantastic professional work while being respectful to both us and our home during the process. We highly recommend them for any plumbing work and would indeed call them again if needed. You can’t go wrong with these guys!
