Let’s finish the basement! Sketches and a billion photos (check). Framing, new cabinets up, sump pump covered by custom built counter/island, sanded birch ceiling with grid (check). Drywall (seeing the light). Now the fun stuff…Tiffany ceiling lamps, cream ivory painted headboard, lilac paint on walls with brown trim and wallpaper, new bedding…
Turning the basement into a studio apartment. I’m only half way done.

Finished this job in a day. Working for Two Cities Pizza was really great. My favorite part was seeing the operator, though. Thank you for the business kind sir. ❤️

This antique took a little longer than I thought and I’m still not done. I needed to reglue/rescrew/renew …any more words that rhyme because I did those things too. 😉 I am finished with painting the exterior and the top half hardware.
I still need to drill holes for the lower drawer and find the matching hardware somewhere and I need some ideas for what to do with the interior. 🙂
