It's been a long cold winter and this project dragged on through it all BUT at the end of every rain storm there's a rainbow and hopefully that's all this client sees after their 2 bathroom project completion in Surf City.

It took a little scraping and priming but it came out nice in the end. Green subway set with Bostik Big Tile and Stone.

I spoke too soon. Another vinyl plank install and it was a doozy for sure. The prep was killer but it all came out nice in the end. A case of Bostik Ultra finish pro and a half dozen bags of CMP liquitek brought this out of whack subfloor up to par and will let the clients enjoy this space for years to come.

It's been a minute since I've broken out the vinyl plank tools but when calls, you answer and you bring backup. Tom and Cody from and Ken from saved the day when I called them to come hang out and throw down some planks. It was a pleasure working with you gentlemen.

We even had the opportunity to grab some dinner with our friends from although all of us forgot to take a picture. Go figure.

Despite unexpected structural obstacles including a rogue piling and bowed studs, Skyro Floors successfully navigated space constraints to install a semi-curbless shower system in a compact guest bathroom, using the Gruen shower system.

I just finished this custom mosaic piece with some leftover tile in the shop. From hand drawn concept to framed completion.

These pieces can be installed in any shower or backsplash or be hung on the wall for all to enjoy.

Pebble scribe semi curbless shower with

This one was tricky. The subfloor was out an inch from where the tub fixtures will go to the other end of the tub. Then I had to meet up to the entrance of the curbless shower.

These 1.5"x17" subways were interesting to play with on this backsplash. It turned into a nice accent for those cherry cabinets.

Set with Big Tile and Stone and grouted with hydroment vivid Storm.

Wrapped up the silicone (wet location from color matched to Vivid Storm)on this one today. Not my typical setup but it came together nicely. pan and linear drain with AquaD waterproofing set with big tile & stone and hydroment vivid grout.
