I had the chance to create the Colorado State flag for a buddy of mine that moved out there!

The waves, the grains and all the different subtle “imperfections” gives the flag a one of a kind look!

These gorgeous custom cheese boards are made with a wide variety of hardwoods — Ranging from Walnut, Mahogany, Cherry to Jatoba, Purple Heart, and Padauk.

Time to recap:

This beautiful customized 52” x 80” farmhouse dining room table built with Douglas Fir is ready to hold some big family style meals. With the tabletop being so wide, it allows for not only two chairs on each end but two chairs comfortably.

The base was built with reclaimed solid 4”x6” pine...milled down just enough to take the roughness out but keeping the circle-sawn touch. Capping the details off by creating the symmetrical arches which bring the base to life.

The most fascinating part of this build was creating the mortise and tenons for the breadboard ends of the tabletop. Including haunched tenons for strength and using the drawbored technique with the dowels, all this adds so much to create the perfect classic woodworking function and look.

Completed and shipped this custom solid walnut whiskey box with a maple inlay detail in the lid. Mitered corners add so much to the look! Inside: fits four shot glasses as well as a whiskey bottle.
