I was honored (and a little sad!) to celebrate the retirement of John Olson from Hom Furniture this evening! John is the epitome of impeccable customer service. I am so grateful to have spent many years working with him while bringing quality products and service for my clients. John is simply the best! I’m happy for John that he will be able to spend more time golfing and bowling but especially enjoying his family including his young grandkids. Tuesday Transformation!
We had a swivel chair that I loved in our family room but after lots of use, the fabric was wearing on the arms and it was starting to “squeak”. I’m not kidding, it sounded like a mouse. 😫🐭Knowing I wanted a heavy duty replacement with performance fabric and something deep that would fit my tall husband, I ordered a chair from my MHID line of furniture: MT Furniture! This is the Baron Swivel and I put a performance Sunbrella fabric on it. It is deep which is great for tall people. It is narrow which is great for smaller spaces. It also has clean lines and the swivel is hidden - you would never know it was a swivel. It is SO comfortable!! In the market for new furniture? Let me know! [email protected]

Congratulations to design assistant Megan on her graduation from NDSU over the weekend! 💚💛🎓🎉 So fun to celebrate with her and her family at Wild Terra afterward. Megan will be moving to Milwaukee this summer. So happy for her and her bright future! 🤗

Nearly 6 months ago I was asked to be part of a surprise for a long time Courts Plus member - Mary Ann Armbrust. Her family wanted to make a generous donation in her honor and update the lobby where she socializes after her workouts. We worked with our friends at InterOffice to choose heavy duty commercial lounge furniture that brightened up the space, added another table near the tennis courts for conversation and replaced all of the chairs. I also felt a wall seen by those sitting at the tables could use a nice piece of artwork. We chose a piece called Dakota Pride by artist Ellen Diedrich - a friend of Mary Ann. A piece of exercise equipment was also purchased. All of this was kept secret and our plan had to be executed perfectly. After Mary Ann had her workout on Tuesday, all of the old furniture was removed and the new furniture was moved in. Everything had to be done before she arrived this morning. 😅 What a generous gesture to honor such a remarkable lady! Not only is Mary Ann staying fit and healthy by exercising, she keeps her mind sharp by socializing and enjoying the community at Courts Plus all while being an inspiration to all those around her. What an honor to be part of the newly dedicated Mary Ann Armbrust Lobby! ❤️

We had quite the Tuesday Transformation yesterday ending in a big surprise this morning at Courts Plus! I was honored to be asked to be part of this furniture and accessory update in the newly dedicated Mary Armbrust Lobby at Courts Plus. 🥹❤️ Check out the news story tonight! I will be sharing more of her story as well as before and after pictures tonight. What an amazing lady!!!
