Our New Way Garden We are a nonprofit organization devoted to widening the access to local, organic food for communities. Our New Way Garden Inc.

was founded by educators with horticultural experience. We have formed this venture to utilize gardens to educate the public about locally and naturally grown food and to increase access to healthy produce to those who otherwise would not have access to such foods in their communities. Our New Way Garden grows food without the use of herbicides pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Our gardens are

on commercial, private and public lands. We donate a majority of the food grown to local nonprofit organizations. By establishing gardens and donating produce, seeds and seedling, Our New Way Garden intends facilitate small local businesses and provide productive activities and positive sources of income for youth at a time when opportunities are limited. Our New Way Garden partners with schools and community groups to teach students about gardening and the natural environment.

Even though the air is still crisp and the beds are still covered…there’s plenty happening in the greenhouse!
From drying okra and pea pods to harvest seeds, to processing corn for cornmeal, and growing more tropical plants, there’s still a lot to do in the “off season”
But stay tuned, the growing season is so close 🤩🫛

Hi Everyone, we’re posting this with great humility given the current circumstances in the US…
If you have the means to donate, please follow the link in our bio or in the highlighted story. We are so grateful for any/all of the support given to the garden and our efforts in producing wholesome food for our community.
{Unfortunately by now none of us are strangers to the unjust changes the current administration is making to government policy intended to help and support our country’s most disadvantaged families. Programs like SNAP, EBT, Teacher Quality Partnerships (TQP), Community Services Block Grants (CSBG), and many others, have been stripped down or eliminated completely under the guise of “saving taxpayer dollars”, while millions of Americans go hungry.
Our work in the garden has been combating food insecurity and social inequities for 18 years and has allowed ONWG to donate over 250,000 pounds of produce to under‐resourced communities over our lifetime.
Our New Way Garden, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and right now we need your help to continue to grow the best produce, and provide greater food security and education to members of our community.

Hi friends! It's been a minute since we got on Facebook. Just wanted to let you all know we are still killing it over here in the food justice world! And, our farmers market is back and better than ever. Along with our delicious organic fresh produce, we now have multiple local vendors selling goods like meat and eggs, lotions and soaps, healthy desserts, hand-pressed juices, and more!
