If walls could talk, these two new small scale patterns, Petals & Palermo, would whisper, but they still pack a punch with color.

Halfway between furniture and sculpture, the NAGATO is carved out of a chunk of solid wood. Its name is borrowed from the Japanese town but it also pays homage to the work of Constantin Brancusi through its clean lines with particular reference to the “endless column”.

This piece, which is at the same time Brutalist and refined, combines minimalism with a poetry which elegantly fits into the home. The Nagato is a side table but can also be used as a stool. You can sit on it or use it to place a book, lamp or vase.

The solid wood cracks naturally and in time gives the object its individual look.

Los Angeles designers showed up to give UNEARTHED by John Pomp the welcome it deserved.

Last night, John & Anne Pomp unveiled his new wood furniture collection at our TL Pacific Design Center showroom, with the design community turning out in force for its Los Angeles debut.

The scene: designers spilling through the gallery; colleagues finding each other across the room; junior and student designers learning about the brand; new pieces getting admired from every angle; conversations running long, and John and Thomas right in the middle of it all.

This one had the energy of a proper LA opening. Serious design, beautiful people, luxury at every corner and absolutely no one in a hurry to leave.

Thanks to our friends at Tequila Tequila Casa Dragones for keeping the glasses filled and Dominique Cristall for getting the room moving with a soundtrack made for a very good night on Melrose.
