Came across this article on Fox News. We are hopeful that builder start installing mitigation systems in all homes.

If you don’t have one in your house and you have a basement reach out!

Homebuyers should never skip a home inspection, especially when it comes to testing for radon, a cancer-causing gas prevalent in Utah.

Had the absolute pleasure of inspecting this modern mansion for and ! Even the most lavish homes need a critical eye. Luxury doesn’t replace due diligence — it raises the bar. This one was stunning, and still got the full Pinpoint treatment. ✔️

🏡 Buying a home? The biggest issues aren’t always obvious to the untrained eye.

Costly defects hide behind walls, under floors, or inside systems buyers rarely think to check. Structural concerns, outdated electrical, moisture intrusion, drainage problems, and hidden mold can turn a “dream home” into an expensive surprise.

Surprises are for birthdays, not long-term investments 😱🫠

Why are home inspections so important?

Home inspections reveal problems that aren't obvious during casual walk-throughs. While you're admiring new appliances and fresh paint, serious issues like faulty electrical systems, plumbing leaks, structural damage, and heating and cooling problems hide behind walls and under floors. Professional inspectors know where to look and what warning signs indicate bigger problems developing.

The financial protection alone justifies the inspection cost. Discovering a failing roof, foundation issues, or outdated electrical systems before closing gives you powerful negotiating tools. You can request repairs, negotiate price reductions, or walk away from a bad deal before you're committed. This knowledge often saves buyers far more than the inspection costs.

Even new builds need inspections. With so many “hands in the cookie jar” GC’s don’t have the bandwidth to monitor every system, door and window. We’re a trained set of eyes that compliment the builder to ensure your shiny new purchase doesn’t have problems 5 or 10 years down the road.
