We propagate our own deer resistant varieties of evergreens and hydrangeas which we are able to sell at 1/3 the price of Garden Centers. Whether you are a Landscaper, homeowner or want to participant in our Carbon to Chlorophyll program, Greenwood Growers is the place for you. ease call ahead or email first, we are family owned and run and with visits by appointment only. We are a licensed RI Farm and have the space and permits to host weddings and social events up to 180 people. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CARBON TO CHLOROPHYLL EXCHANGE
Our CCE trees are sold on-line or at the Nursery in RI. Our customers pay a modest price and either take delivery to plant themselves or opt to let us select and install their trees on one of our protected properties. Your evergreens will have the opportunity to grow uninterrupted to maturity. This allows individuals to join the program even when they lack suitable property to plant themselves. Your trees will flourish and help to consume your “share” of the earth’s CO2 no matter where they establish roots. HOW MANY TREES ARE REQUIRED TO ERASE MY CARBON FOOTPRINT? Customers receive a statement from us indicating where and how many trees are planted.The species we produce and sell to you can live for 300 years! As they grow larger they will displace more and more CO2. One person planting a few dozen seedling evergreens per year for 20 years is all it takes.
