The first project of the new year was a simple clean up and remulch of a beautiful property in West Melbourne. We we removed and trimmed back the dead and planted a mixture of Buttonwood, Walter’s Viburnum, Jamaican Caper and Cocoplum. There’s plenty of space for these natives to fill in and thrive over the coming years.

Some before and after pics of a recent project in Heritage Isles. The goal with this design was to replace the tired old hedges and mulch with a low maintenance mixture of native and Florida friendly varieties. We spaced the plants so that as they mature they will have plenty of room and won’t over crowd each other and take away from the accents on the house. The border stones were set in concrete along the walkway and drive way to help insure the lava rock would stay contained. Other than light typical maintenance, this landscape should last for many years to come with out being a burden on the home owners.
