Big week for wild life this week. Duck's and trukeys in Grand Haven. They come every morning for breakfast at the bird feeder's. Snapping turtle was in Glenn. Was digging in the dirt. Maybe for egg laying. The deer was also in Glenn laying in the tree's. Storm's might have animal's out and about. Walked down to lake Michigan. On the way back to job site. Something fell in front of me. I thought what was that. Four feet in front of me it was a squirrel. It got up and ran off. The wind blowing the squirrel must of jumped to a branch and missed. And down to the ground it went. If I walked a little faster it would of landed on me.

Second pour in Glenn. Approach to garage addition, Piece between garage's. And a sunken room. This room is for food storage. Wheel barrel some of the concrete. Approach poured off the truck. Concrete is hand troweled. Approach has a broom finish. The other two spot's are smooth. All the concrete is saw cut control joint's.

Down in Glenn for a garage floor addition. They will connect to old garage. First I saw cut some block. And hammered them off. This is were the garage door will be. Set a couple pipe row's and snapped line's. Kalkmans Redi Mix brought the concrete. Hand troweled the floor two time's. Next day saw cut control joint's in.

Here in Grand Haven for a Rapid Flush Plumbing project they had going. When I showed up they had a big long hole dug. Just finishing up what they had to do. They filled hole and compacted as they went. Once they were done I had a section of curb and city sidewalk to pour. Set form's. Freehand the curb. Not just like older section. But turned out nice. Concrete is hand troweled and broom finished. Control joint's are put in by hand to match older section's.

Here is the first pour of driveway section in Hesperia. Because of the slope a trench drain was added. Poured in two section's. Long ride for concrete truck and warm weather. Concrete set's up fast. Plus need time to get around trench drain finishing the concrete. Concrete is hand troweled, broom finish and saw cut control joint's.

Up in Hesperia at the end of the week. This project is in the work's. Set up a fire pit patio to pour. Started on the driveway approach. Putting in a trench drain in front of the garage. Monday use loader to take out the extra dirt. and set form's for pouring. Nice spot on the river. Except for the mosquito's.

Did some manhole repair this week. For Rapid Flush Plumbing. They took old concrete out and black top. Repaired the manhole's. I set up and poured the concrete. Took a picture of Dan the Kalkman Redi Mix driver in truck. Concrete is hand troweled by hand. Broom finish and saw cut control joint's.
