Here are a few signs your vent may be clogged.⁣
1. Your dryer takes longer than 1 cycle to dry⁣
2. Clothes are damp or wet after 1 cycle⁣
3. Water dripping from vent or dryer door.⁣
4. Little or no lint on your lint screen.⁣
5. Top of dryer gets very hot⁣
6. Burning smell in dryer⁣⁣

We got a call about a smell in the dryer. We went out and take a look and found a pretty big lizard in the vent. This doesn’t happen too often but it can happen if there isn’t a guard on the exit vent. It can also happen if there is a tree near the exit vent. We put an animal guard on the exit vent so they will be good to go.

Have you gotten a new roof recently?
We were called out to do a routine dryer vent cleaning. Something didn’t seem right during the cleaning. Matt went in the attic and saw that the vent was never reattached after the new roof was put on.
Please remember to tell you roofer to make sure your dryer vent and all vent for that matter are reattached.

We are considered essential in this time of Covid 19. We have been called out to 2 homes in the last week where a customer tried to clean the vent themselves. Unfortunately, they got the rods stuck in the vent. We were able to get the rods out without much effort because this is what we do.
