Do You have a dripping faucet?
Go Look at your Faucets, Showers for 10 seconds and see if you notice a drip!
Here are some signs that your faucet cartridge may need replacing:
Dripping or Leaking:
If your faucet is constantly dripping or leaking even when the handle is fully closed, it's a clear indication that the cartridge may be worn out or damaged.
Difficulty in Turning:
If you're having trouble turning the faucet handle or it feels stiff, the cartridge might be binding or deteriorating.
Inconsistent Water Temperature:
If you're experiencing fluctuations in water temperature even when you haven't adjusted the handle, the cartridge's temperature-regulating function might be compromised.
Low Water Pressure:
A worn-out cartridge can obstruct the flow of water, resulting in reduced water pressure. If you're experiencing lower water pressure than usual, the cartridge could be a potential culprit.
Visible Mineral Buildup:
If you notice a buildup of mineral deposits or rust on the cartridge itself or around the faucet area, it could be a sign that the cartridge is deteriorating.
Old Age:
Cartridges have a limited lifespan, usually 6-7 years, depending on the quality of the faucet and the frequency of use. If your faucet has been in use for a long time, it's a good idea to consider replacing the cartridge preventively.
If you're experiencing any of these issues, it's a good idea to reach out to our professional plumber's to diagnose the problem and determine whether the faucet cartridge needs replacement.
Keep in mind that different faucets have varying designs and mechanisms, so the replacement process may vary.
