So very interesting story about this plant. The sweetest lady came into the store one day. She was telling us that her husband was a HUGE plant collector and he had recently passed away and she sold the majority of his collection. While he was traveling overseas, he discovered this plant and brought it back to the US for cultivation and put a patent on it. She did keep some of his plants, such as his Epipremnum and Warscewiczii which literally grow like weeds in her yard. Brandon visits every few months to help her keep her garden pruned and we feel very lucky and grateful to receive cuttings in return. He calls her his Florida Grandma.

🤤A stunningly gorgeous species that hails from Colombia. It is one of the largest epiphytic Anthuriums, growing on trees instead of in the ground, and the leaves can easily get up to 4-6 feet long in good conditions.✅

🙌🏼Its large leaves have air-purifying features that can remove unnecessary toxins from the air, such as formaldehyde, ammonia, toluene, and xylene. Your indoors will stay fresh and clean always.🧼

I mean what can we even say that hasn’t already been said. Anthuriums are stunning in so many ways. The glitter, the shimmer, the thickness, the flowers.

It is so rewarding pollinating your anthuriums, getting berries, planting them, and watching them grow. It’s so rewarding.

🪴Piper Crocatum. A beautiful vining or climbing plant with pink veins, native to Peru.

❤️We’re seeing this plant finally makes it way here and much more accessible! While harder to come by, it’s relatively easy to care for. Bright bright light and keep the soil moist. Stop by the store to pick one up and check out all the new goodies we just got in for you! If you are not local, do not hesitate to shoot us a DM if you see something you want! These will be posted on Etsy next week, but keeping it local and for our IG fam for now!

😜The amount of plants we get into the jeep is just mind blowing. All the nursery doubt us at first and then boom. 🔥

🤩My motto for life “if there’s a will there’s a way” you can make anything happen if you really want to. As human beings we are truly capable of things beyond our wildest dreams. Whether it’s climbing Everest in shorts or packing a ton of plants into a car.

We have stepped into the ice age.

All of our beautiful planty babes are nice and toasty inside. We did have to leave some guys out there to weather the weather. But they are double wrapped up in their own cocoon.

This is our first experience have hundreds and hundreds of plants to move out of the elements. And I’ll tell ya it wasn’t the most fun.
