The orchard is in bloom, there’s a constant hum of bees and it smells amazing.

The crabapple tree is blooming right on schedule. The bees are pretty busy working on it. The rest of the orchard is budding up and should blossom in the next week or two.

Found a clutch of 8 wild turkey eggs in the orchard. I’m moving the game cam over there to monitor the hen.

A bittersweet close to our chapter of raising goats. Last April we were up to 17 Nigerian Dwarf goats and today we sold our last goat to a nice family near Bangor. It was a great experience and we really loved the goats (and the milk) but the girls need to be milked twice a day and the two of us have only been on one trip together in over 4 years. We have 6 grandkids we’d like to visit more often…together.
