Coralee is kicking off Memorial Day weekend with a new toy and new blooms here on the farm!

She would also like to thank everyone who has visited so far this year and taken the time to toss her ball or offer her a pat on the head. She's a nervous girl and we are trying our hardest to show her that there are super cool humans out there that love goofballs like her just as much as we do. Since the start of the season, she has made soooo many new friends and even gets excited now when she sees a new car pull up! If you haven't met her yet, you should come down! We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1-5 pm until the end of June. Then we will take a little break during the hottest months of the summer to give the potted plants a break and will reopen in September. ❤️❤️

Spring is finally springing here on the farm. Aside from these amazing blooms, we have a very happy (and tired) pooch who not only gets to run free for hours on end but has met so many new friends that have come to visit our nursery. In addition, our veggies are finally, comfortably taking root outside and things are in motion. Here's to a great season for us and everyone! May your flowers bloom bright and your veggies produce abundantly. 💚 🌱💚🥰

While we are anxiously waiting for our natives to pop up, we are working hard on prepping raised beds for veggies!

Per usual, Coralee is being super helpful. First she helped Alyssa w**d and mix worm castings into this bed (as well as the grass and pathways around it) and now she's decided that she will keep this spot warm since she heard peppers prefer warmer soil.

No matter the task, this girl is on it. 🫡

Our opening day this year is Saturday May 2nd - we hope to see you this Spring!

Now that spring is officially here, it's time to clean up the farm and get organized in preparation for opening day. This weekend was pot organizing weekend.

Of course the only way to do this efficiently, is to hire the goofiest pooch to test the aerodynamics and durability of each type of pot. (She also took it upon herself to do additional research and found out that they are, in fact, not see through). 🤣

What do you guys think? Is Coralee a good fit for the job?

Although we are already closed for the season, we stand in solidarity with the other businesses and individuals who are speaking out against ICE.

Here at Wild Ginger Farm, we teach about the importance of a diverse landscape and how, without it, the world around us wouldn't survive. This goes for the human world as well. Take it from our plant and animal friends, monocultures are never successful.
