Went to replace a dishwasher this morning, and found the original installer connected the neutral and ground wires together.🤦‍♂️ This should never be done, as it can create a serious electrical hazzard. This is why I preach to all homeowners, "if you don't know what you are doing, or not 100% sure, CONTACT A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL". A little common sense and safety, goes a long way.

**URGENT NOTICE**
With the impending tropical system expected to reach our area tomorrow, I will be out making several stops for storm preperation. If you need assistance, please feel free to call or text 860-575-9672. I will make every attempt to come out today. After 6pm today, I will no longer be making service calls, until after the storm, and roads are safe and passable.

PLEASE STAY SAFE, AND STAY HOME IF POSSIBLE! LET THE UTILITY AND DOT CREWS DO THEIR JOBS, AND STAY HOME SO EMERGENCY RESPONDERS DON'T HAVE TO RISK THEIR LIVES UNNECESSARILY.

Hard to believe that 10 years ago, I started Lighthouse Handyman. Although 2020 has been a crazy year for all of us, it is because of all of you that I have continued to grow. A special thank you to all of my family, friends, and customers past and present, for helping and supoorting me to make this achievement successful. Here's to another 10 years and beyond!
