☀️ Mediterranean summer wisdom 💧
One of the things I learned from the Mother of the Mediterranean Diet Antonia Trichopoulou is that some of the most powerful health habits are also the simplest.
Throughout the Mediterranean, especially during the summer months, people enjoy herbal infusions made with chamomile, mint, sage, lemon balm, and other seasonal herbs.
These traditions are passed down through generations and are part of a lifestyle centered on seasonal foods, local agriculture, and community.
She taught me that knowledge is meant to be shared.
What better place to do that than a where many of these herbs are grown by local farmers right here in our community?
