We had an amazing time at Inspiring U yesterday! Our day was filled with preschool story time and crafts, homeschool art class, crocheting a cute stuffed turtle, and creating festive fall cards. 🎨🐢🍂

Friday, Oct 30
- Adult Level 1 Sewing at 6:00 pm - Have you always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine, or do you just need a refresher? This class is perfect for you! You'll create a fabric bin while learning sewing machine basics. The skills you gain in this class will open the door to many more sewing classes we offer.

Saturday, Oct 31
- Cat on a Fence Painting at 10:00 am - The perfect Halloween painting! Sign up with friends and kick off your Halloween festivities with a fun and creative morning.

- Build a Skelly Cookie Decorating at 2:00 pm - A beginner-friendly cookie decorating class where you'll learn fun techniques and leave with beautifully decorated sugar cookies in hand.

Sunday, Nov 1
- Open sewing 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm -- Come and sew with others who love the art of sewing! Enjoy plenty of space and creative inspiration.

- Scrapbook and Design at 1:30 pm - Spend a couple hours creating a scrapbook that is uniquely YOU! Each session features a new technique or prompt to spark your creativity!

We are having a GIGANTIC craft sale at Inspiring U on Friday and Saturday, October 23rd and 24th, 9:00 am -12:00 pm both days. Fabric, yarn, unfinished wood, Christmas crafting supplies, wood shapes, rubber stamps, felt, flannel, fleece and quilting fabric, wreath making supplies. We also have lots of rolling chairs to sell! And so much more! Here are just a few pictures.

- 6:00 PM – Reusable Grocery Bag Class (Must have Beginning Sewing)
- 6:00 PM – Jelly Roll Rug Sewing Class

Sunday, Oct 18
- 1:00 PM – Kids Sewing: Pillowcase
- 1:00 PM – Survival Sewing: Learn basic mending skills, sewing a button, repairing holes, and much more!

Adult Level 1: Beginner Machine Sewing — 9:00 AM
Ready to learn the basics of sewing? Learn about fabrics, the sewing machine, and the "tools of the trade". Students will make a small fabric bin while learning their new skills. This class is also great for those who have purchased a new machine, or for those who haven't sewn for many years. All supplies are included for this beginner class. Register here:

Crystal Cascade Necklace & Earrings — 6:00 PM
Create a Crystal Cascade Necklace and Earrings can be made with all of your favorite colors. We have lots of charms to choose from too. You will learn how to make a cascade of beads, a dangle pendant, and some earrings. This is a fun night out with friends! So be sure to tell all of your friends and have them join you! Your may bring whatever beverages and/or snacks you want for the class. All supplies are included in your class fee. Register here:

Tote Bag with 6 Simple Pockets — 1:00 PM After you have taken our Beginner Sewing Class, and learned the basics of the machine, this is a beginner-friendly project where students will learn the simple steps of making a lovely and practical tote bag. This can be used for grocery shopping, or every day, and filled with all of your necessities. The outer six pockets will be sewn when the straps are stitched on and gives you lots of extra storage space. Register here:

My name is Michelle Foster, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new owner of Inspiring U! As someone who grew up in Westerville and continues to call this wonderful community home, I am passionate about creating opportunities for connection, creativity, and personal growth right here.

Taking ownership of Inspiring U is more than a business opportunity for me. It is a chance to invest in the community that helped shape who I am. I truly believe that when people come together with open hearts and creative spirits, amazing things happen. My hope is that Inspiring U continues to be a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and everyone feels welcomed, supported, and inspired.

I am thrilled to continue building a space where we can all Gather, Create, and Empower together.
