Simce we removed the coat closet in favor of a bathroom, we needed to get creative with the other small closet.

1. The finished coat closet / storage space ✨️
2. Photo of the original layout from our initial consultation
3. Cleared-out storage space, so we can see what to work with
4. Reconfigured the shelving, added a coat rack, painted, and added an outlet for the vacuum to charge in-closet

With some space planning and precise measurements, we rotated the kitchen island, bumped out the wall, and converted a cramped coat closet into a functional half-bathroom. This design also added space for a coffee nook and large storage cubbies above.

3. Demolishing the closet wall to build out
4. Framing the bathroom-to-be
5. Hanging drywall and building sturdy support beams for the cubbies (Jeremy did a few pull-ups to test their integrity!)
6. Finishing the drywall and cubbies, placing cabinets
7. Seamless new space!

This client's wishlist included a half-bathroom, storage solutions for kitchen appliances, and a coffee station.

We recently completed this bathroom addition!
The homeowner wanted a bathroom easily accessible from their home office, since their spouse had difficulty walking up stairs.
We reconfigured this unused breakfast nook off the kitchen by building a small bathroom with a pocket door, and leaving enough space for their desk to be relocated, creating a new home office meeting their needs!
