These days, most of my time is dedicated to full custom homes, so it’s rare I get to focus on single-room interiors. But when a regular holiday styling client shared they were expecting their first baby girl, I gladly made time to help them create a beautiful, personalized nursery for their newest and most special addition.

𝗛𝗶 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀!!
It’s been a minute since you’ve seen me on here (okay… since March 27th…but who’s counting?). Truth is: I’ve just been 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗬. Like, “can-I-clone-myself-yet?” kind of busy. 🥴

Between our custom home clients navigating the wild tariff ride and shifting timelines, and our small organic farm demanding overtime thanks to this moody spring weather, I’ve barely had time to remember what day it is, let alone post about it. (Seriously, there have been too many times I genuinely thought it was a different day. 😂)

This season, a lot of clients who planned to start building this spring or summer have hit pause while they wait and watch things settle. Even our 2026 clients have been voicing concerns. Honestly, it’s made the Consulting side of our Custom Home Design service more valuable than ever. Helping folks understand what’s happening behind the scenes has become a huge part of my job lately.

Thankfully, I’ve got a secret weapon: my husband Nic, who just so happens to be an expert within the import/export compliance industry. When it comes to materials affected and supply chain chaos, I’ve got real-time data from the guy sitting at the dinner table. And trust me, hardly a night goes by we're not discussing something new. Mama, needs a cocktail just thinking about it! 😅

On the farming side, we’re deep in garden prep, when the weather lets us! This season’s delays have kept us on our toes (and in our boots) longer than expected, but things are finally starting to take shape, even if the planting calendar disagrees.

So, to make up for my unplanned social media sabbatical, enjoy some renderings of a beautiful custom home we’ve been working on… that’ll be built… sometime! 🤞
