McCue Gardens will open for retail on May 10th (the Saturday before Mother's Day). We are not open to the general public until then. We look forward to seeing you all once we open for the season. Thank you!

So sorry I have not posted much this year! Watering alone has been very hard to keep up with this summer!
Well, here it is a sale of all the beautiful product we have been able to keep alive all summer long!
From August 25th - this Thursday thru September 3rd a week from Saturday. From 10:00 - 4:00 on August 25th, 26th, and 27th this week and from August 29th, 30th, 31st, and September 1st, 2nd, & 3rd next week we will hold a sale at McCue Gardens.
Gorgeous Perennial Hibiscus in Bud and Flowering! Normally $20.00 each - Now for the next 9 days they will be $15.00 each. 7-9 different varieties.
Echinacea's (Cone Flowers) - We have a fantastic assortment of colors. At least 10-12 varieties in bloom at this time! Normally $12.00 each - Now for the next 9 days they will be $10.00 each.
One more Super Special - Our exclusive! - Dicentra eximia Snowdrift = Normally $15.00 each - For the 9 days we are having the sale only they are $10.00 each.
Much more color is available in Natives and Perennials! Examples are Rudbeckia's, Gentian's, Anemone's, Heuchera's, Vernonia's and much more!

So, to all of you very anxious customers who want to come to McCue Gardens to shop for your plants! This week you can begin to come to McCue Gardens beginning on Wednesday, the 18th of this week!
We are open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. We are Closed on Sundays and Holidays. So, when in doubt just give us a call to make sure. See you soon! Bruce & Cindy McCue

Hello everyone,
If you are looking at this post, then you are a follower of what goes on at McCue Gardens, in Wethersfield, CT! I am afraid I have some news I have to share with you today that has to do with McCue Gardens.
We would like to pay tribute to the happiest dog on earth who is now in heaven over that rainbow bridge! We lost our beloved "CoCo" on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at around 1:00 pm. She had a stroke as close as we can tell. She went really fast, very unexpectedly, and she did not suffer! We never expected her to go so soon, she was only 10 years old! Any of you that have ever visited McCue Gardens know exactly who I am talking about! This was "CoCo when she first arrived on the scene, December 20, 2012.
This post does not want to let me continue so I am moving on and making another post with some more pictures so keep looking!

McCue Gardens on Facebook!
We are not open yet for retail sales. It will most likely be at least two more weeks till we can open for the spring of “2022”. Between the weather and trying to get our wholesale orders out of here, we do not have time for much else!!!!
As of right now let’s say we will open for retail on Monday May 16, 2022. Please be patient as we hope to create a safer environment by then. Thank you in advance! Bruce & Cindy McCue

We are having a fundraiser event for the CT Master Gardeners Association on Wednesday June 9th 2021! It is from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. at MCCUE Gardens - 47 Hartford Avenue - Wethersfield, CT 06109. Every one is welcome to join us for a day of shopping for some new plants for your garden!
The Master Gardeners will receive 20% of the total sales for the day! They use the money for scholarships for the Master Gardeners course for those who can not afford the course! Please come and join us for a great cause! Thank you in advance! Bruce & Cindy McCue
