Holy sh*t—it’s been busy over here, and we are so, so grateful!

Somewhere between:
• dreaming up the perfect Teacher Appreciation Week gifts; lively blooms in a ruler-decorated vase finished with a mini teacher flag
• designing wedding bouquets + other wedding florals
• releasing our NEW Bloom No. 1 White Peony candle with .era.candles
• behind-the-scenes Mother’s Day prep for preorders; because you deserve only the best! (think coming up with flower recipes & the designs, vase/flower ordering, website listing set-ups, taking mock up photos, email/SMS marketing that goes out… all the things)
• helping add the finishing touches to prom looks with custom bouquets & boutonnieres
• and taking on the funnest projects like our floral “necklace”—a refined take on the Derby’s iconic flower blanket, designed to bring that same sense of celebration a little closer to home for Derby parties

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, so here’s a little backstory on how flowers played a part in it…. because as a local, full service florist (and our fearless leader is a momma of two little boys!), it also just felt right 🙃

Even though the story is on the heavier side, it goes to show how flowers still feel like a language of their own; one that holds love, longing, and everything we feel for our moms ❤️
