We’re not saying we’re famous… but we are saying we had a moment on ABC News. 😉🎬

Our Artisan Tour home, Love Story, was featured in a spotlight segment by Kristen Crossman of KSTP, who shared why Home in Dellwood is making waves this summer; a 130-year-old historic gem, reimagined with heart, heritage, and a whole lot of intention.

The segment highlights the full-circle renovation on how we honored the home’s bones while updating every square foot for modern living. No shortcuts. No erasing the past. Just a delicate, deliberate dance between what was and what could be.

This is what we love most! Bridging eras, blending stories, and designing with reverence and ambition.

Thanks to our partners at Robey Construction for walking this journey with us. And to everyone who watched and said, “That’s the home I’ve been dreaming of”? We continue to design for you.

Up north, something wildly untypical is taking shape.

One of our latest projects, a boundary-pushing, soul-soothing, one-of-a-kind cabin, is in the final stretch of staging and styling, and we’ve got that familiar buzz in the air. You know the one: Equal parts creative high and obsessive perfecting.

This wasn’t your average cabin from the jump. It was a vision for something different: An architectural retreat with character and quiet drama, rooted in place but unafraid to experiment. A home that lets the landscape breathe and the owners exhale. 🪵🌾

We’ve spent months marrying form and function, asking not just how people will use the space, but how they want to feel in it. There’s a fireplace you’ll never want to leave. A bunk room that redefines cozy. Materials that look lived-in from day one. And angles... oh, the angles! 🤗✨

This week has been one part unglamorous and oddly satisfying final passes (wrapping up final construction details, installing furniture, setting scenes) and one part capturing this home in its full glory.

All so you can see what we see: A deeply personal escape, designed from the ground up.

They say it takes a village… but let’s be honest, it takes a dream team (or seven).

As the dust settles from three weekends of hugs, high-fives, and design admiration, we wanted to shine the spotlight on the incredible collaborators who made this home sing and this tour possible. Every precisely crafted piece of millwork, perfectly placed rug, delicate flower arrangement, and lushly layered landscape element was a labor of love, and these teams brought it to life with artistry and heart.

🏡 Blue Pencil Collective: We may be biased, but every line we drew and detail we designed came from a place of deep care. And caffeine.

🔨 Robey Construction: You took our ideas and built them with muscle, mastery, and a meticulous eye. We’re endlessly grateful.

🌲LCI Landscapes: We’re still blushing over how many people asked about the meticulous landscape design. That’s on you.

🖼 JoNae Villeneuve: Your intricate and warm styling created the final touches that made viewers giddy and those flower arrangements…no words can express their beauty.

🪑 Dwell: Architecture and design is only as good as its furniture, and you nailed the vibe of this home with every delicious custom piece.

🌿 Ty Hitchcock: Your work created harmony with the architecture in all the right ways, from the outside in your plant designs elevated the experience from every vantage point leaving the view green with envy!

🌹 Bachman’s: From the exotic flowers that elevated every room to the topiaries that adorned each porch and patio, your greenery florals was a testament to the beauty of nature and of Bachman’s generosity and heart.

🧵 Curio Rugs: Your textures added depth and made our spaces feel like home and made everything come together like a fine composition.

👨‍👨‍👧 Last but not least: OUR CLIENTS! Your dedication, trust, love and support were genuine drivers for us all. We will continue to be honored to have worked with you, and to now call you friends, forever.

We couldn’t have done it without you... and frankly, we wouldn’t want to.

There’s residential design. There’s commercial design. And then there’s hospitality design. where the welcome begins before a single word is spoken.

What makes hospitality design different? It’s part psychology, part spatial choreography. It’s not just about beauty. It’s about how a space makes each person who walks through that front door feel: At ease, intrigued, cared for, connected.

Whether we’re designing a boutique hotel, a winery, or a private club, we’re always asking ourselves:
✨ What should the guest remember?
✨ What should they never notice (because it worked so seamlessly)?
✨ What cues can the space offer to slow down, settle in, or spark conversation?

Hospitality design lives in the fine details; the light temperature, the volume of the acoustics, the curve of a banquette. It also demands versatility. Unlike residential or office design, hospitality is for everyone, yet somehow still needs to feel deeply personal.

BPC’s dual-discipline model is uniquely built for this challenge. By weaving architecture and interiors together from day one, we create experiences that are sensory, seamless, and story-driven. Spaces that invite people to linger, return, and rave about it to their friends.

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again (with sore feet and full hearts): there’s nothing like the Artisan Home Tour. 😌💙

Last weekend was a whirlwind... picture early morning prep playlists, last-minute pillow fluffing, and a lot of coffee to survive the full days of meet-and-greet magic. Guests walked through Remodeled Home with wide eyes and generous compliments, commenting on everything from the attention to every detail to the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. (And we’re not saying the parlor was the star of the show... but let’s just say it got a lot of camera time.)

There’s something really special about sharing these homes with the people they’re designed for: dreamers, thinkers, future renovators, and intentional space-lovers who can see themselves in every nook.

We’re back at it this weekend: More conversations, more walkthroughs, more candid BTS moments (and yes, probably more coffee). Come see the home that has everyone debating over their most favorite detail!

When Fluid Interiors made the decision to expand, they weren’t just looking for more space... they were ready to elevate how people experienced it. With rapid growth and a refreshed brand, the expansion of their office into an adjacent suite at Butler Square was a chance to build a statement; one that said, “Yes, we’re growing. And yes, we’ve still got style.”

The team took the opportunity to reimagine the arrival sequence and choreograph touchpoints throughout the space; every corner designed to feel like a continuation, not a detour. Inside, the architecture does the heavy lifting (and we let it). With a restrained design approach and refined finishes, we made deliberate space for the original brick, timber, and floorplates to speak for themselves. Every material, every color, was chosen to frame, never compete with, the iconic bones of the building. Haworth’s diverse offerings shine throughout, framed with subtlety and sophistication.

Designing commercial spaces is always a balancing act between form and function, but especially when you’re working inside a Minneapolis landmark. This is where our architecture-meets-interiors model really flexes: the ability to navigate history and modernity in a way that’s seamless, spatially sound, and sensorially rich.

💙 10,000 square feet.
💙 One incredible brand story.
💙 All flowing, just like the name.

Weekend two of the Artisan Home Tour is in full swing, and the energy is palpable!

Weekend one of the Artisan Home Tour is in the books, and if we had to sum it up in one word? Energizing.

Over three packed days, we had the pleasure of walking visitors through every inch of our remodeled home ( ), watching their reactions in real time. Some paused to take in the layering of the plaster finish in the entryway. Others hovered in the kitchen, asking who made the pendants and how we managed to make such a large space still feel so intimate.

The powder room quickly became the surprise fan favorite! We lost count of how many people stepped out with, “Okay… now that’s a powder room.”

There were FAQs, too. A few popular ones:
⟶ Is the home lived in? (Not yet, but soon!)
⟶ Did you do the interiors and the architecture? (Yes. That’s what we mean when we say we’re dual-discipline.)
⟶ Can we move in? (No, this home has loving owners. But you’re not the first to ask. 😉)

We’re gearing up for weekend two with full hearts and fresh eyes, ready to welcome more of you into a home we’re proud to have poured so much of ourselves into. Every compliment, question, and curious glance is a reminder of why we do what we do.

🗓️ Catch us again June 13–15 & 20–22.

NeoCon 2025 has just barely wrapped, and the insights are as rich as ever.

For those of you who might not know: NeoCon is North America’s premier commercial design event, which showcases innovations in office, healthcare, and hospitality interiors.

This year’s theme, “Design Ahead,” spotlighted four major trends shaping commercial interiors:
01 | 👁️ Sensory-rich experiences
02 | 🛠️ Multifunctionality
03 | 📱 Smart materials
04 | 💪 Adaptive resilience

But at BPC, trends are more than fleeting aesthetics. They’re reflections of deeper human needs. For example, the rise of sensory-based design speaks to our collective yearning for spaces that comfort and connect. And the emphasis on adaptability mirrors our evolving lifestyles and work habits.

We don’t chase trends; we interpret them. By understanding the ‘why’ behind each movement, we craft spaces that resonate on a personal level, ensuring every design decision serves a purpose beyond the visual.

Curious about how these insights translate into our work? Let’s start a conversation.

Some stories don’t start with a blank slate.

They begin with a lived-in, memory-soaked family home, and a bold decision to reimagine it entirely.

That was the case for our Sioux Falls clients: Longtime homeowners, now empty nesters, who had every reason to downsize… but instead chose to FUN size. 🍬

They came to us not with square footage constraints, but with a new vision for life’s next chapter. One that held space for ease, celebration, travel, color, and pattern. Lots of it!

The result? A full transformation that retained the heart of their home while completely reinventing its feel. From layout and flow to materiality and mood, the entire space now sings in a new key. Bright, expressive, and thoroughly custom.

And yes: We travel! 🛩️

The BPC team isn’t limited to only Minnesota. We design wherever life is calling. Because legacy isn’t bound by geography, and neither are we. 💃

If you’ve got a story you want your home to tell, we’ll meet you there. ✨

It’s Go Time: The Artisan Home Tour Kicks Off This Weekend! ⏳

We’re so excited to invite you into the home we’ve been pouring our hearts (and blueprints) into for years.

The Artisan Home Tour by @‌paradeofhomestc officially launches this weekend, and our featured home is a collaboration we’re especially proud of.

This is more than a walk-through. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at what happens when design, architecture, and intentional living collide. From the smallest material choice to the way light moves through the home... it’s all been considered.

Whether you’re just dreaming or planning your next chapter, this is your chance to get up close and personal with the process. Our full team will be onsite throughout the tour to answer questions and talk shop. We’d love to meet you!

🗓 Tour runs from June 6th to 22nd (12-6PM)

Great design doesn’t start with a Pinterest board.

It starts with a pause. A breath. A moment of stillness that asks: What do I need to feel whole here?

When we enter a space that truly reflects us, there’s an unmistakable hum of recognition. Not because it’s trendy. Not because it’s beautiful by anyone else’s standards. But because something about it just feels right. 💙

That’s the measure we design by.
Not applause, but alignment.

So the next time you step into a room, don’t just ask yourself if it looks good.
✨ Ask yourself if it knows you.
✨ If it honors your rhythm.
✨ If it anticipates your pace of life.
✨ If it remembers who you are, on your best days and your hardest ones.

This is the lens we bring to every home: Not aesthetic-first, but identity-forward. Because design should do more than impress. It should see you. 🥂🔍
