Happy Tuesday! Is it just me or does it feel like this heat wave is never going to end?! The fall colors are gearing up on our farm but I’m having a hard time getting into the spirit when it’s still so hot outside! Is anyone else waiting for chillier weather to decorate for fall?

Happy Sunday! Thank you all so much for another week of your support! It’s so hard to believe (especially with this unending heat) that we only have two more months left of our growing season. While we are enjoying these last couple months we are also starting our spring flowers, ordering next year’s bulbs and planning out in full our next growing season.

Unfortunately, because of the extreme heat we can’t keep the stand stocked at all times like we normally do (flowers suffer when they are cut in the heat of the day) so when we sell out thats it for the day. We will have plenty of bouquets available tomorrow (Saturday) morning though! We can’t wait to see y’all!

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday we caught a monarch butterfly enjoying our scabiosa blooms! This is just one reason why we choose to grow our flowers as organically as possible. We’re trying to not only grow beautiful specialty cut flowers for your homes, weddings, graduations, etc. but we’re also trying to heal the land and improve the pollinator populations! We love seeing butterflies and honey bees especially enjoying our flowers! And you can bury your face into our bouquets and take in the sweet smell of them without worrying about what nasty chemicals you’re breathing in! And trust me you’re going to want to do that because they smell oh-so good!

Happy Monday! The flower stand is open again today with these fun, colorful bouquets full or texture and sweet smells! As we inch closer and closer to fall the yellows and oranges are becoming more and more dominant in our bouquets. Which fall colors do you like better: cheerful harvest or dark and moody?! Personally I go back and forth but at the moment I’m all about the cheerful harvest color palette.
