This beautiful sterling silver Art Nouveau pin/brooch is AVAILABLE✨ (1880-1910)

Floral filagree design, no damage. I like the patina but you could always shine it up😍 marked 925 on the back.

We still have boxes of vintage finds and as we go through them, we list them on FB Marketplace… it’s just the easiest way.

This piece arrived in a pillow case🤯 not kidding…

Crafted sometime between 1880-1905, this walnut piece turned out to be a real beauty after putting the puzzle back together.

It belonged to our clients grandmother and I really wanted to do some research to figure out just how old it was!

✨A few telling features: the piece is stabilized by threaded wooden dowels where the spindle threads through the shelf and the finial tightens it in place (aka “knock down” furniture); the spindles and finials are hand carved and while almost identical, show the variations of made by hand… lastly the style of the back detail and serpentine shaped shelves🤎

I think we’re missing a top shelf because there were empty holes but no shelf or spindles… so we filled them with wooden plugs and stained those walnut.

Really thrilled with this restoration😍

Just finished up the final stand up mirror.

Salvaged four of these large 1/4” high quality mirrors and framed this one using antique barn wood that we salvaged locally.

Tight mitered corners and very sturdy. Add a metal cleat on the back and hang on the wall. It is Built to last

Measures 25 1/2” x 72”

Just created this awesome shelf with hooks. Used an antique fireplace surround and removed the vertical legs, then added four vintage hooks and heavy duty cleat on the back for easy install

Measures 14” tall x 71” long x 7” deep.

Of course it has been cleaned, lightly sanded and finished with a bees wax. Nice and smooth

There’s something so creative and uplifting about making a piece of furniture in your home into a piece of art.

The internet loves to shame people for painting wood furniture… but I mean, do what makes YOU happy.

The internet says “don’t paint that” but I say, do whatever you want…💁🏻‍♀️

This old secretary has scratches, dents, a fading finish, broken fretwork and was put out for trash.

But just because it’s old and mahogany, doesn’t mean it needs to be stripped and restored.

I see this and it’s a canvas for creativity🎨 your favorite color, a bold color, maybe a color you love but don’t necessarily want to paint an entire room in…

A wallpaper accent on the inside. Something vintage or art deco inspired, or maybe something loud and eccentric… I think we just need to have more fun. More color.

Funky new k***s or age appropriate replacements.

BEST PART?!… IT HAS THE ORIGINAL KEY🗝️😍

So this is me reminding you, wood grain is beautiful BUT so is colorful painted pieces. I look around my house and our fun painted pieces feel like home. They make me smile.

Of course there is a time and place for restoring a piece of furniture with stain… but we must remember to add a little whimsy to our space!
