With white kitchens being the trend lately, it was refreshing to get to work with a customer who wanted natural wood! This is Great Northern Cabinetry’s natural hickory in the Independence door style. The warm toned countertop is Cambria Berkeley with the Basin edge. We need to give credit to the homeowner who picked out the wallpaper, pendant lights, and glass doors. She even installed the wallpaper herself! She had the leaded glass doors made by a local glass artisan. This house is 100+ years old, so we wanted to keep within the confines of the existing kitchen to keep the integrity of the house. That being said, we were able to make the space very functional and obtain as much storage space as possible. We were able to take space from a closet to recess the fridge for a built-in look. We, along with the homeowner, are so happy with how this unique kitchen turned out! She says the kitchen has been perfect for entertaining guests.

This lake house kitchen got a beautiful makeover with a more functional layout. Cabinets going up to the ceiling make the room look so much bigger. The cabinets are Great Northern Cabinetry oak with crushed ice paint. The island and floating shelves are maple with toffee stain. The light and bright countertops are Cambria Ironsbridge.
