My friend at Winkler Gardens let me know there will be a farmers market this Saturday (10/18/25) at Harrison Park in Emmetsburg from 8am-noon! I will be there with lots of cherry tomatoes, teaspoon tomatoes, and peppers! I’m very excited to meet new people and have a change of scenery! Be sure to stop by. 🤗

‼️ATTENTION‼️ Just a reminder that there is only TWO markets left of the season! We have tomorrow and next Saturday and that’s it! I’m currently still harvesting and packaging for tomorrow, but here’s what I have so far.

Assorted cherry tomatoes (large and small packages), single variety packs, teaspoon tomato mixes, 1 large container of yellow/red teaspoon tomatoes, and cucamelons. I have another bulk order of the super hots going out. Hopefully next weekend I will have some to bring to the market.

If you want to put in an order for large cherry tomato packs, please message me. I will try and harvest until we get the first frost.

✨NEW ITEM✨

Tomorrow I will be introducing a new item at the market! I have a red cherry plant that has been producing very small tomatoes. They’re between the size of a teaspoon and regular cherry. So I thought I would try a new mix of these small cherry tomatoes, red, and yellow teaspoon tomatoes and see how you guys like them!

QUIZ TIME! This is the white cherry tomato variety I’ve been growing this year. Can you guess which ones don’t belong? I’ll give you a hint- they’re very hard to miss. 😉

If you’re wondering why I have some that are the right color, but the wrong size….it’s genetics. When tomatoes are cross-pollinated, the fruit from those seeds will exhibit traits from both plants. These offspring plants are considered “unstable.” Out of all the white cherry plants I did this year, one gave me these LARGE white tomatoes. It’ll take years to “stabilize” a new variety to produce consistent fruits. It looks like this variety wasnt quite stable yet, but I do love a good garden surprise! And if you’re wondering if I’m trying my hand at making a new variety….of course! I’m gonna try and create a chocolate cherry teaspoon tomato!
