My family got to go up to visit my parents in Missouri for the first time in almost two years and I helped them with a couple projects. Removing two windows in their kitchen/dining area and adding a sliding door in that space. Then got a good start on building a deck. It still needs railing and stairs and will eventually be a covered porch. The door still needs some trim on the inside and the sheetrock needs finished the rest of the way, but we got as much done as we could before needing to head home. We had a great time visiting with family and getting some work done. My dad and I sure make a good team!

Removed some patio carpet (forgot to take pictures before starting) and Installed 12x12 tile in a diamond layout.

Gave this laundry room a fresh look with new cabinets/butcher block shelving, subway tile, a fresh coat of paint and scraped popcorn/re-finished the ceiling.

This old section of privacy fence was due for an upgrade. It was great having an extra set of hands on this job. Jack is a good young man who’s willing to work hard and wants to learn. Hopefully you’ll be seeing more of him on here in the future 👀

Exciting announcement!
What started 5 years ago as “Elfrink’s Handyman Service” (DBA) is now officially “Dusty Dove Construction LLC”!
I will still be providing the same kind of services and will aways continue to provide honest, friendly service and great quality, but a few months ago I felt a strong desire to re-brand and start fresh with a new perspective on the business with more drive and room to grow. I really appreciate all the great customers that I’ve had the privilege of working for that allowed me to succeed thus far and I am so excited for the possibilities to come!

Here are some before and after pics of a bathroom remodel I had a part in recently. I did a skim coat over the textured ceilings for a smooth finish, finished the newly installed sheetrock (installed by a different company) installed new baseboards and painted the ceilings, walls, trim and doors. The new shower, vanity top and floor were all done by other companies. It turned out great!

Once again, I forgot to take pictures before I started this, but I didn’t get too terribly far before remembering. I hung and finished the Sheetrock and laid the tile floor in this bathroom.
