Banned book week is October 4th-10th, but we’re starting the celebration early with our Blind Date with a Banned Book display.

Each one is a pre-loved book wrapped so you don’t know the title until you take it home. You’ll get a few clues, a bookmark, and a little something to enjoy while you read.

And on the tag? I’ll tell you why this particular book was challenged.

Read something they tried to ban.

A little booth refresh!

I’m working on making my little corner feel more like me - cozy, bookish, a little whimsical.

There are more Blind Dates waiting to be discovered and more on the way. And I’m still tweaking because apparently I can’t leave things alone. Who knew?
