The next 60 days might be the best window of opportunity in 2024 for anyone thinking about buying a home in Wichita. Here’s why: Right now, for the first time in nearly 2 years, you have the best of both worlds -- lower rates and lower competition.
Interest rates have come down over the last couple of weeks. And the Fed hasn’t even actually cut rates yet!
Most likely, the first real rate cut won't come until later in the spring. But instead of waiting until then (when all the other buyers flood the market again), consider making a move NOW.
I think the next 60 days might be THE best time to buy a house in 2024.
Period.
You can find the house you want without competing with tons of other buyers.
You can take advantage of lower rates now, knowing that in 12-18 months, you'll possibly be able to refinance at an even lower one!
