The theme of Construction Safety Week this year is Recognize - Respond - Respect. Recognize and respond are pretty obvious when it comes to work site safety. But what about respect?

In order to prevent serious injuries and fatalities, we need to respect every hazard we come across and take it seriously. And we need to respect everyone involved, from the Safety Manager at the top all the way down to the people who may be exposed to the hazard, whether it be our team members or your building's occupants.

When we treat each situation with care and respect, this is when we're best equipped to recognize the risks and to prevent serious injury.
