I have been working this Maggie console. Total recap including the xovers, relubed record changer, and some refinishing. She runs and looks great. I think she is done ;)

I got the heaters hooked up today. All voltages are looking right on. Artificial center tap on the grounded 6v6 socket soldered to the chassis. 100 ohm resistors to ground on each 6v leg. First time for this honestly. Working with the PT that I have on hand. no 6v CT

Got a couple more hours in on it today. I need to double check where the shielded wires go, been a minute since I built an amp from scratch. Not a kit build at all. I am having much fun with this. This amp is gonna be bad ass. I just kinda laid the board in to see how it will fit. Looks ok to me. I will likely use some nylon stand offs to mount the board to the chassis. Not sure yet. I am designing and engineering it as I go.

Got a bit more work done yesterday. Today is Sunday, so I am taking a break to rest and regroup. This is my first "from scratch" build in over 15 years. It is almost like starting over as a newbie in some ways. I have made and corrected a few mistakes already. I am having tons of fun building this amp.
