Finishing up another big one and checking it off the list as we wrap up our last exteriors of the season.

Using all Benjamin Moore colors — Richmond Gray HC-96 on the lower walls, Dry Sage 2142-40 on the upper walls, Marble White 942 on the trim, Essex Green HC-188 on the doors, and Raphael CC-2 on the decking.

Before, during, and after.

Here’s a look at one of our recent projects, a quaint turn-of-the-century home that was long overdue for a fresh coat of paint.

We carefully scraped, prepped, and primed every inch before applying Benjamin Moore Regal Select High Build, a finish that helps bridge gaps and fill the grooves in century-old siding and millwork.

Using the right products for the job is key to a long-lasting, high-quality finish, and this home is a perfect example.

This solid mahogany door was fully restored using Sikkens Cetol Door & Window—a premium, translucent finish designed to enhance and protect hardwoods in high-exposure areas. After stripping and sanding, we applied three coats to bring out the wood’s natural warmth and depth while sealing it against UV and moisture. The result is a rich, satin finish that not only elevates the door’s appearance but will hold up beautifully for years to come.

Final coat today on the floor in this loft space. We used an water based acrylic polyurethane to seal the floor. Acrylic polyurethane will protect the floor without ambering the wood like oil based would. Still ensuring durability without taking away the natural freshly cut look of this timber framing.
