Sometimes you’ve gotta get creative to keep the equipment running and the lawn looking perfect. 💪🌱
Using the Kubota tractor to safely lift the front end of the Gravely mower made blade sharpening quicker and easier so we can stay productive and keep clean cuts on every lawn. Sharp mower blades matter more than most people realize — cleaner cuts mean healthier grass, less stress on the turf, and a better overall appearance.

At Oxford Lawn we’re always finding efficient ways to maintain our equipment and deliver top-quality lawn restoration and soil-driven results.

Compost can't compact soil into concrete. It actually prevents future compaction. Learn this simple trick for healthier soil.

A slipping conveyor belt on a compost topdresser can destroy production speed and create uneven material flow. In this video, we show how we diagnosed and adjusted the conveyor belt tension on our EcoLawn topdresser to get it feeding compost properly again.

We go through the before and after results, tension adjustments, and what to check if your topdresser belt starts slipping under heavy compost loads. Regular maintenance on compost topdressers is critical for consistent spreading, better efficiency, and avoiding downtime during lawn renovation projects.

At Oxford Lawn we use our equipment hard every day for compost topdressing, lawn restoration, soil improvement, core aeration, and turf rehab across Florida, so preventative maintenance matters.

Big compost. Big equipment. Big results.

This is the process behind real soil-driven lawn restoration — high-volume compost loading with the Mulch Mate HDT feeding the EcoLawn Topdresser for fast, efficient, and consistent application.

Most lawns don’t fail because of the grass. They fail because the soil underneath has been depleted, compacted, and stripped of organic matter. That’s why we focus on rebuilding the soil profile first.

This is how Oxford Lawn moves compost at scale while delivering precision topdressing across Florida lawns.

Healthy soil = deeper roots, improved moisture retention, better turf density, and stronger lawns from the ground up.

🌱 Soil Driven. Earth Approved.

Healthy lawns don’t start with more fertilizer. They start with better soil.

This setup combines the Eco Lawn EcoLawn 250S with the Mulch Mate HDT trailer to efficiently apply high-quality compost topdressing across large lawn restoration projects.

Compost topdressing helps improve:
• soil structure
• microbial activity
• water retention
• root development
• drought resistance

At Oxford Lawn we focus on soil-driven lawn restoration using compost, core aeration, soil amendments, and organic-based processes designed for long-term lawn health.

The problem usually isn’t the grass.
It’s the soil underneath it.

This pile right here 👇
is where your lawn actually starts.

We used to go out of our way to find the best screened compost we could get…
and we paid for it too.

Because this isn’t just dirt.

It’s structure.
It’s biology.
It’s the foundation of everything your lawn becomes.

Most people never see this part…
but this is what separates average lawns from elite ones.

At Oxford Lawn, we build from the soil up 🌱

👉 Better soil. Better lawn.

This is why our videos never go as planned 😂
You try to talk about building better soil…
and the chicken decides it’s her moment 😅🐔

This is real life behind Oxford Lawn.
No scripts. No fluff. Just real work, real results, and apparently… real interruptions.

But here’s the thing 👇
The same natural products we’re talking about here are what actually rebuild your soil from the ground up.

Not fertilizers.
Not quick fixes.
Real soil biology.

Because when you fix the soil…
you fix the lawn. 🌱

👉 Follow along if you want to see how we actually rebuild lawns the right way.
