I haven't posted on Big Timber for a while. Just got done installing the April Air Steam humidifier. This customer has hard wood floors, a piano, and a son eczema. This should help with all 3. This Steam humidifier works great and is the only humidifier I will install.
Anyone else need one? Let me know.

With summer headed our way it's a good time to check your AC. Me and my assistant Keni checked mine the easy way. Check you temperature at your return grill and at any supply grill. You should have a 20 degree difference or more. If not you may need it checked. It's also a great time to change your filter for the summer. Please don't fall for the $19.99 tune up BS. No one can pay employees and gas for $19.99... If it's not running right give me a call. I also can get filters and bring them with me on a tune-up.

I have had a few calls over the last week asking if I knew of a product that can help with keeping the air clean. I have this in my house and do believe it makes a difference. Hi all,
Be careful! There is a company out there right now offering FREE ac checks... Nothing in life is free. They have and will lie and and tell you your TXV value is going out. I have had 2 this week. This is a scam.... this company is dishonest as hell!!! They will make something up and charge huge amounts to fix things that are not broken. If you fall for the FREE checkups you've been warned.... Sorry still mad

Another helpful hint. Take a temperature reading of your return air and your supply air. You should have at least 20 degrees difference between the two. Just checked mine and there was only 15 degree difference.
I added about 1 lb of refrigerant and now there is a 23 degree difference between the two. It is a simple way that homeowners can check there system to see if they need me or not. Hope you all have a cool summer.

If your ac is not blowing cold shut it off and run your fan. It will save me time and you money. This is a frozen coil and the only way to fix it is to turn off the ac. Run the fan for 4 hours and check your filter.

Just added an Ecobee wi-fi stat to our house. Abby loves it! You can check/change the temp from anywhere. $100.00 REBATE from Questar right now on these. I'm now trained on installing them. Let me know if you need a new toy!

If your filter looks like it sucked up your cat...... it may freeze your coil. Not that i dont love all 47 service calls this week. Just trying to save you some cash. If your ac is running and no air is coming out it frozen. Shut her down for a few hours and check your filter. If it still freezes up, give me a call.
