A local family here in Willmar asked us to cut down 2 trees. We accepted the mission and then knocked it out of the park! We normally cut all of our stumps low to the ground. However, occasionally customers ask us to leave them for personal reasons. Read the photo captions to learn what else we did for this family!

I am beyond proud of our team after this massive test of skill! Here is one of our recent projects. It doesn't get much more complicated than this! We were able to get this done with good old fashioned climbing and rigging. We brought our lift but it couldn't get nearly close enough except to take a couple branch tips off.
It won't let me add the videos so hopefully, I can put them in the comments. Also, please note that the damage to the gutters can be seen in the pictures PRIOR to removal.

Friends! A few service companies in our local area had their Google accounts removed for no reason whatsoever. I was one of those companies. I spoke to Google and they gave me no explanation at all, however, they did restore my account. Unfortunately, no reviews were saved... I'm asking any one of my past customers, If you could, please take just a moment to help restore my credibility on google and leave a simple review? I was a 5 star company before Google took the listing down.

Friends, I would like to share a review made almost 2 years ago that I feel captures exactly the kind of satisfaction I want each and everyone of my customers to feel upon completion of a job:

"We gave this business a job from hell. The first tree we had removed was close to the house, garage and deck. And it was a very large boxelder tree to top it off. Even though it turned into a 3 day job, this company did the job very well. I appreciate the meticulous thought he put into each cut to ensure the tree would fall without any damage. And did I mention he did this in freezing weather?!
After that incredible job, we called him back to remove a limb and another tree that was leaning over our privacy fence into out neighbors. That job went smoothly and it was another job well done.

This is the type of reaction I hear from so many customers time and time again. Customer service is something that seems to have been lost for so many "service" companies and was a primary focus for this business when it was started. I am happy to see so many satisfied customers prove Lakeland Tree Service has done exactly what it was built to achieve, however, one key component is missing. Reviews. In 3 years we have only received 2 reviews on Google and 5 here on Facebook despite hundreds of satisfied customers. Ladies and gentlemen, with the report of tornadoes touching ground, there is bound to be tree damage. If you need service, please, reach out by text or phone, 320-212-0629. Minnesota winter is set to go out with a bang! The approaching storm will present freezing rain, snow, and high winds. Each of these conditions can present damaging results for trees but all three together is exponentially more destructive. Be sure to check the condition of any trees that are in a location that could result in secondary damage. Look for a splitting trunk or large limbs, "widow makers" which are branches that are broken but still hanging or hung up in other limbs, and any other sort of damage you know to be out of the ordinary. Anything over or near your home, other structures, vehicles, areas where children play, or anything else you perceive to be a possible hazard are all examples of areas that could be hazardous or prone to secondary damage.

Full timer Tyrone, my customers neighbor boys Amilio and Anderson cleaning up after a good day of dropping trees. Some would call it child/slave labor, I call it a work ethic training course! Okay, I'm just kidding! These boys just have some awesome work ethic already and don't know they are getting a $20 bill each for their help.
update: the little work horses ended up with $50 each! they even carried logs away with us!

As I'm sure some may already know, tonight will bring very high winds (up to 80mph according to the alert I just received!) which often leads to broken trees. We are prepared and ready to help anyone who needs a hand clearing the damage.

Lakeland Tree Service LLC had to take this beautiful Ash tree down following high winds that split the trunk all the way to the ground.
Positioned over power lines, a septic tank, a garage, and an Oak tree which at all costs should not be injured during these warmer months, this removal required absolutely precise rigging.
The job was completed safely and cleaned up to look as if we were never there.
