NC Friends -

Gardeners of Wake County is hosting their annual azalea sale today & next week! The proceeds support NCSU horticulture scholarships. This is where I got all my azaleas last year. They even have native varieties!!

Go check them out!!

Customers needed. We need customers today Saturday at the GWC charity azalea sale. Proceeds help fund NCSU Horticulture Dept scholarships. 9 to 6 daily except closed Sunday at NC State Fair grounds. Enter at gate 5 on Youth Center Road.

I swung by Hobby Lobby to check out all their sales going on this week. My store was already putting out spring items! I found the most adorable spring green floral pitcher and I KNEW it would be the perfect container for the snapdragons and carnations I bought yesterday. 👀 Look how stunning this turned out! 🥰

THIS IS THE MOST GORGEOUS GLADIOLUS I HAVE EVER SEEN 😍😍😍

I don’t know her name so I’m declaring her Splash of Sherbet.

I think I’ll be tagging this stem so I can be sure to propagate any new bulbs that grow this year. She is so pretty!!!!

Aren’t these so fun and pretty?!

I bought myself a hanging basket of Calibrachoa from my local Walmart. I’ve never had these before and wanted to see how they’ll handle our hot NC weather. I don’t think I’ll keep it in the hanging pot, but plant it somewhere this week.

Honestly, the colors and petal designs are so pretty that I might go back and buy some more 😘

My birthday falls on Mother’s Day this year, so today we celebrated with these delicious cupcakes from Sugars in Bloom by Ashley . I got a 3-cupcake bouquet & 12 minis in a mix of vanilla and chocolate. They were so moist, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. My whole family was surprised and delighted when I unboxed them. 😊 If you’re looking for a gorgeous sweet treat, I recommend these cupcakes.

On a whim, I splurged on a $40 box packed with seeds. It was part of a wholesaler’s stocking stuffer clear out. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but woah am I super happy with my decision!!

They sent me 85 seed packets, most with a min of 50 seeds! I had figured I’d get the usual items like sunflowers and zinnias (which I did), but they also packed in a bunch of speciality seeds like sweet peas and lisianthus!! 😄 I can’t believe all the varieties this little box holds!
