Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a highly toxic, flammable gas found in many industries — and because it’s heavier than air, it can accumulate in manholes, sewers, pits, and other confined spaces.

Even low concentrations can cause headaches, eye irritation, or loss of consciousness. Higher levels can be fatal. H₂S can also ignite if exposed to sparks or flames.

Key steps to protect workers:
• Evaluate exposure levels
• Eliminate or control the source
• Use engineering and administrative controls
• Provide appropriate PPE when needed

🚨 Safety Alert: Toy Recall Due to Asbestos Risk 🚨
More than 121,000 Orb Funkee Squeeze Toys have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) due to a serious hazard—possible asbestos contamination in the sand filling.

If these toys rupture or break, hazardous fibers can be released and inhaled, posing significant long-term health risks.

👉 What you should do:
• Take the toy away from children immediately
• Do NOT squeeze, puncture, or open it
• Place the toy in a sealed plastic bag
• Contact the manufacturer for a refund and disposal instructions

These products were sold nationwide between February 2025 and April 2026 at major retailers.
